iPhone wordpress app
May 2nd, 2009So I’m trying the wordpress ipone app. So far, it’s very easy to use. One of the few apps that actually uses the horizontal keyboard. I’ve gotten better at using the regular keyboard, so I don’t know if it will be all that important.
The ability to save draft posts and edit existing ones is huge. I haven’t had a chance to try to moderate comments with it, yet, so I’ll be interested to see how that works.
The one thing I would like to see, and maybe I’m just missing it, is the ability to take published posts and revert them to drafts. In terms of mobile use, that would be a really nice feature, in the event you have to take something down, but don’t want to delete it.
Update: Never mind. I just found how to do the revert to draft thing. It’s not the most intuitive, but it’s there. I kind of wish there was a post button at the bottom of a post rather then going to a different menu, but I can see why they have it the way they do. Overall, a very solid app with a surprising amount of power.
I just posted this photo to prove that I could. It is of the beautiful Lake Tahoe – I miss it so.

Seems like you need someone to comment, then. That way you can get to moderating.
